The Caravanserai: Creating sumptuous street food and delicious refreshments for fellow travellers since 1438.
The Caravanserai was a movable feast, a spontaneous oasis of refreshment and
delight that sprung up wherever people needed food, friendship, drink, company and comfort. Street Food from a time when there were no streets.
Caravanserai is the new street style food project by Kada Bendaha, one the most successful food entrepreneurs in Leeds with a string of award winning local projects
and world wide festival appearances behind him.
Situated just off Call Lane in the busy Exchange quarter in the heart of Leeds,
Caravanserai brings together the exotic and extraordinary with comfort and familiarity and is open for breakfast, lunch and throughout the night. Serving authentic Ottoman food inspired by the spontaneous meeting places that sprung up along the spice routes of the medieval Mediterranean.
And it’s on a mission to offer authentic North African refreshment to the people of Leeds.
