Sculptural Interpretations: Hand-built Ceramics Workshop

Join Sunderland-based ceramic artist Mark Burns Cassell to take part in this exciting interpretive workshop. Take inspiration from the Gallery’s ‘Michael Lyons: Freeze Frame’ sculptural exhibition to create interpreted sculptural hand built pieces. During this ceramic workshop the focus will be on texture, scale and concepts of ‘void spaces’ in your work. At the end of the session Mark will take all work produced to his studio for kiln firing, to be returned to the Gallery for participants to take home with them. Suitable for ages 16 + Please note there is a £12.50 charge for this workshop, all materials will be provided.
