One of the very first British women to qualify as a doctor lived and worked in Leeds. Join Vine Pemberton Joss to hear about Dr Edith Pechey and how she came to be the first women doctor in Leeds and Yorkshire. THIS TALK IS PART OF A PROGRAMME OF AFTERNOON WOMEN’S HISTORY TALKS LINKED TO ABBEY HOUSE MUSEUM’S 2018 EXHIBITION A WOMAN’S PLACE.
